Over 1,700 photos were entered into the APEC Photo Contest 2026. Ten final images were selected for the shortlist. The winners will be announced during APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Shenzhen, China.
The 2026 theme is “Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together.” The finalist photos capture daily life, local food systems, and cultural traditions across the region. They show how international trade and economic cooperation improve community well-being.
An international panel of four experts will select the top three winners. The panel includes Ambassador Chen Xu, Eduardo Pedrosa, photojournalist Mast Irham, and photographer Antonio Escalante Loredo. First place wins SGD 2,500, second place receives SGD 2,000, and third place gets SGD 1,500.
Two additional SGD 1,000 prizes will recognize public favorites. Online voting for the Popular Choice Award remains open through October 30, 2026. Meanwhile, the Influencer Award goes to the photo with the highest social media engagement.
